Christmas Story

Dip down in the forest when trees grew so toll,

Stood one little fellow, the smallest of hole.

The trees waved their branches and rustled their lives,

But the smallest of hole just stood stiff in the breeze.

When winter winds howled, the trees were afraid,

And dropped their lives, till there was know more shade.

The smallest of hole just stood brave and toll.

And kept his grin coat when snow started to fall.

One day laughing children came pulling a sleigh,

They cut him gently and pulled him away.

They dressed him in tinsel and bright shiny balls,

In pepermint canes, tiny angels, and dolls.

And on Christmas morning ‘twas easy to sea

The smallest of hole was the loveliest tree.
