European Day of Languages

At the initiative of the Council of Europe, Strasbourg, the European Day of Languages is celebrated since 2001 on 26 September. It celebrates linguistic diversity, plurilingualism, lifelong language learning.

Students can use the Council's resources such as interactive games or greeting cards.

On the 26th September our school is going to celebrate the European Day of Languages. This year we are going to build a multilinguistic wall of proverbs in which you can stick a "brick" with one of your favourite proverbs in English, Portuguese, Spanish or French.

If you want to make friends across Europe, the Council of Europe invites you to sign up for Facebook.
